Folding Fan - Nihonbashi Design (Asayake)

As the center of the Five Main Routes of Japan, Nihonbashi is an area where a lot of people gather.

The motif of the famous Nihonbashi Bridge, which is the symbol of Nihonbashi, expresses the tradition of the long-established shops with the help of nice patterns.

The colors of the fan, reminiscent of the dawn, represent the "beginning" of Nihonbashi, which has grown with times through repeated cycle of tradtion and innovation.

Paper fans create a crisper breeze than cloth ones, and give a sense of the style of the Edo people.
